
Homemade Caramel Delights (Part One)

Preheat oven to 350°

In a large mixing bowl mix Butter & Sugar well. Then mix in the Flour, Baking Powder & Salt. Followed by Vanilla & Milk.

Adding the Milk as needed to make the dough come together without being sticky.

The dough should be soft and not too sticky. If too sticky add more Flour.

Roll the dough out in between two pieces of wax paper, about 1/4 inch thick

Use a 1 1/2 inch cookie cutter to make rounds

Place on parchment lined baking sheet, and use a knife or the end of a wide straw to cute a small hole in the middle.

Repeat with the remaining dough.

Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes until bottoms are lightly browned & cookies are set

Cook for a few minutes on the baking sheet then transfer to a wire wrack to cool.
