Ingredients

  1. 2 lbvenison roast
  2. 1onion
  3. 1 lbpotatoes, cubed
  4. 1 envelopedry onion soup mix
  5. 1salt&pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    preheat oven to 450°

  2. 2

    prepare roast and place in daking dish

  3. 3

    dice onion

  4. 4

    add onion and potatoes to baking dish

  5. 5

    add salt and pepper to taste

  6. 6

    sprinkle onion soup over roast and veggies

    bake at 450° for 1 hour

  8. 8

    reduce heat to 300°

  9. 9

    bake another 2-3 hours

  10. 10

    remove from oven, let rest 5-10 minutes

  11. 11

    slice and serve

There was no water or beer or soup added!!!! How are you supposed to have a moist roast when there is no liquids added. Nothing in recipe for moisture!!!!!!!
