1 1/2 cupsugar
3/4 cupcocoa
1/4 cupvinegar
1 1/2 tspbaking soda
3/4 tspsalt
1 1/2 cupwater
1/2 cupcooking oil
1 1/2 tspvanilla

Spread the cherry pie filling evenly over the bottom of a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.

Stir flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt together in a large bowl.

In another bowl combine water, oil, vinegar and vanilla.

Add liquid ingredients to flour mixture all at once.

Stir just to moisten.

Pour batter evenly over pie filling.

Bake at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes or until done.

Cool for 10 minutes, then invert and cool.
