Ingredients

8 servings

11lb box.. medium shells
2 cantomato paste
1/4 cupbacon grease
1water
1salt and pepper to taste

in a 3quart pot fill 3/4 way with water and add bacon grease. heat to a slow rolling boil.

add entire box of noodles, and cook until noodles are starting to get soft. about 7min. lower heat to a simmer..

add both cans of tomato paste and the salt n pepper. stir until the paste has blended into the water. add more water until pot is filled to 1/2 to 1 inch from the top.

continue to cook until noodles r tender and it starts to thicken.

remove from heat and let cool for about 5 min. and to let thicken rest of way.

serve alone or with your favorite meal.

serves a family of 8 as a side for cheap. or as a meal for 4..

variation.. add garlic powder to taste when u add the tomato paste and add motz cheese to the top when finished...
