SARCIADONG ISDA literally translates to "Fish with egg sauce". Fried fish is simmered in a sauce that is usually composed of tomatoes,.eggs and onions; some seasoning are also added to enhance the flavor. This simple and healthy recipe also works well with leftover fried fish that you had last night for dinner into a very tasty and healthy dinner or lunch meal.

Ingredients

  1. 2 lbtilapia, cleaned
  2. 3pcs medium sized tomatoes diced
  3. 3pcs medium sized onion, diced
  4. 1 3/4 cupwater
  5. 1/2 tspground black pepper
  6. 1/2 cupgreen onion, chopped (optional)
  7. 2 tspgarlic, minced
  8. 3pcs raw eggs, beaten
  9. 2 tbspfish sauce

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oil in a frying fan then fry the fish. Ensure that salt has been rubbed over the fish before frying.

    Remove the fish from the frying pan and place in a plate with paper towels. Set aside.

    Using a clean pan, heat about 2 teaspoon of cooking oil than saute the garlic, onion and tomatoes.

    Add the fish sauce and pepper then stir

    Put in the chopped green onions and water and bring to a boil.

    Add the fried fish and simmer for 5 minutes.

  7. 7

    Pour the beaten eggs on the pan. Ensure that it is distributed evenly.

    Once the eggs curdles or coagulates, you may start stirring the mixture.

    Simmer for another 2 minutes then transfer to a serving plate.

    Serve hot. Share and enjoy. Serves 4.
