Ingredients

20 servings
  • 1/2 cupbutter
  • 1/2 cupwhite sugar
  • 1/2 cupbrown sugar
  • 1egg
  • 1 tspvanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cupself-raising flour
  • 1 cupraisins
  • 1/2 cuproasted nuts (any of your choice)
  • 1 cupchocolate chips (optional)

    Preheat the oven to 180C

  2. 2

    Beat butter and sugars till light and fluffy

  3. 3

    Add egg and vanilla extract. Beat to combine

  4. 4

    Pour flour in and gradually add raisins, nuts (chocolate chips too if you would like)

  5. 5

    The dough will have a crumbly texture. Line teaspoonfuls of mixture onto baking sheet, spaced well apart

  6. 6

    Bake for 15minutes until golden. Leave it to cool for 10-20 minutes (they become extra crunchy!)
