Yogurt soup Yogurt soup
Hey there!!! How is everyone doing? I am fine having fun with my friend this week, sightseeing and just catching up on things. Tammy a couple of days ago decided that she was going to cook a Yogurt Soup Recipe from her native country Georgia (not the US), I was quite surprised to hear that a Yogurt Soup recipe even existed. 🙂 When she finished making the soup it was time to taste it. I was curious…very curious, I took the first sip and guess what!!! it was a delicious surprise, it reminded of the Greek Egg Sauce that we use in our Greek Chicken Soup. 🙂At first when she mentioned that she was going to be cooking Yogurt Soup I was a bit hesitant, but then I thought it would be a new taste, it has Yogurt in it so I have to give it a try. It is such a light soup and from what she told me this is a great option if you are on a diet. This is why I love cooking and baking, you learn about so many beautiful recipes that exist in other cultures, and it is always a wonderful surprise. 🙂Today, is her last day before she heads back home tomorrow, I have to admit I am sad and happy at the same time, it was great having her here and we had a fantastic time together visiting Museums, Amsterdam, and many other places. 🙂 Foodzesty -

Chilled Spaghetti with Basil Sauce and Yogurt Chilled Spaghetti with Basil Sauce and Yogurt
Basil sauce itself doesn't blend well with the pasta, but I didn't want to add so much oil. That's why I experimented with mixing in yogurt. It surprisingly added a rich flavor to the sauce and it was quite tasty. This dish is also great as a side dish for a richer main dish! Please leave out the lemon juice if you're not a fan of tart food.Taste the basil sauce beforehand and adjust the amount of salt and pepper for the seasoning.Squeeze with a cloth or paper towel and drain it well. For 1 serving. Recipe by Nanamama cookpad.japan -
Yogurt Salad - Authentic Turkish Flavor Yogurt Salad - Authentic Turkish Flavor
I learned how to make this in my cooking class. I changed the ingredient amounts so that I could make it more simply at home.Turkish yogurt is acidic and thick. It has a high fat content, so the texture is smooth. If necessary, you can strain your yogurt and add lemon juice.Sour cream is not normally used in this type of salad. This is my cooking teacher's original recipe. Recipe by Kuminchan cookpad.japan -

Tiramisu-style Yogurt Tiramisu-style Yogurt
I've been eating yogurt with skim milk powder mixed in for about 5 years now, and I absolutely love it. I've never seen a recipe like my one for tiramisu style yogurt, so I went ahead and uploaded it.Double the amount of sugar to make it really sweet. It'll really be dessert-like. However, if you don't use any sugar at all the sourness of the lemon will be very pronounced, so add at least 1 teaspoon. Recipe by ayureo cookpad.japan -

Strained Yogurt Cold Carbonara Strained Yogurt Cold Carbonara
When I made cold carbonara using Parmesan cheese, I didn't like its coarse texture. Also when I enjoy this pasta in the hot weather, I don't want it to be sitting heavily in my stomach, so I came up with this recipe which uses strained yogurt instead. To cut down on the time needed to expel excess water from the yogurt, add a little bit of salt. With some salt, it will only take an hour to strain the yogurt. For 2 servings. Recipe by Mishatomo cookpad.japan -
