Ingredients

  1. 2 cupwhite rice
  2. 1/2 cupboiled brown lentils
  3. 2onion chopped slides
  4. 1/4 cupvegetable oil
  5. 3 cuphot water
  6. 2cubes of chicken stock
  7. pinchsalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Put 2 cups of white rice in a bowl and rinse it then drench it for 10 minutes then sift it

  2. 2

    In a medium pot put a little bit of vegetable oil and put the lentils and the rice and stir a little

  3. 3

    Melt the chicken stock with 3 cups of water then add it to the rice mixture then add salt for seasoning

  4. 4

    Cover the pot and let it cook for 15 to 20 minutes on a low heat

  5. 5

    In a pan put a little bit of vegetable oil and add the chopped onion and stir until golden brown

  6. 6

    Put it in the serving dish and put the onions on the top
