Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 400 mlDouble cream
  2. 400 mlSemi skimmed milk
  3. 4 tbspSultanas
  4. 8 sliceOf white bread
  5. 4Eggs
  6. 1Butter
  7. 2 tspMixed spice
  8. 4 tbspCaster sugar

Steps

  1. 1

    Pre heat oven to 160: gas 4 and grease dish with butter

  2. 2

    Mix the eggs, cream, milk and sugar and mixed spice until creamy

  3. 3

    Butter the bread remove crusts and cut each slice into 4 triangles

  4. 4

    Scatter sultanas over bread then pour mixture over bread

  5. 5

    Cook for 1-11/4 hours
