Ingredients

  1. 2 cupchicken broth
  2. 1 cupwater
  3. 1 cuporzo
  4. 1/2 cuprice
  5. 1 tbspdried basil
  6. 1 tbsplemon zest
  7. 2 tbspbutter
  8. 1salt & pepper to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil chicken broth and water in medium saucepan.

  2. 2

    Stir in orzo, rice, zest & basil. Return to boiling for about 2 minutes.

  3. 3

    Lower heat and simmer until liquids are absorbed. Stir in butter. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
