Super Moist Steamed Chocolate Cake (Kue Coklat Kukus)

Super Moist Steamed Chocolate Cake (Kue Coklat Kukus, moist, soft, moist) recommended for moms! Super easy, no mixer needed, just mix it up.
I fell in love with this steamed chocolate cake because it's incredibly soft, almost like eating ice cream, especially when topped with chocolate ganache, hmmm.. (I didn't include the ganache recipe because I usually just estimate it hehe)
Here's the recipe, sourced from the blog girlieannyen but I've modified it a bit to my taste.
Please give it a try..

Steps
- 1
In a small saucepan, add butter, sugar, and milk. Heat over low heat until the sugar dissolves, then set aside to cool slightly.
- 2
Preheat a steamer over medium heat. Prepare a round 8-inch (20 cm) cake pan, grease with margarine, and line the bottom with parchment paper. Set aside.
- 3
Add the eggs to the butter mixture and mix well. I use a whisk 😊
- 4
In a large bowl, combine and sift all the dry ingredients.
- 5
Add the butter mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until no flour lumps are visible, but don't over-mix. The final batter will be runny with some small lumps like mud.
- 6
Pour into the cake pan and tap a few times to release air bubbles.
- 7
Steam over medium heat for 40-45 minutes. Do not open the steamer in the first 35 minutes.
- 8
You can do a toothpick test to ensure the cake is cooked. After the cake cools, pour chocolate ganache over it.
- 9
Yesterday, I used too much heat, so the top bloomed beautifully, hehehe, but when it cooled, the cake shrank a bit (that's normal, don't worry), so the cracks didn't open, hehe.
- 10
Tadaaa, this is after adding ganache and sprinkles.
- 11
The result is incredibly moist, a must-try hehehe
