Ingredients

  1. 1 lbGround Beef
  2. 1 lbGround Mild Italian Sausage
  3. 1 tbspolive oil, extra virgin
  4. 1 1/2 cupDiced Red Onion
  5. 1 1/2 cupShredded Carrots
  6. 1 1/2 cupChopped Celery
  7. 2 tbspMinced Garlic
  8. 48 ozBeef Stock
  9. 30 ozCanned Great Northern Beans
  10. 30 ozCanned Diced Tomatoes
  11. 64 ozV8 Vegetable Juice
  12. 16 ozDry Ditalini Pasta
  13. 5 pinchSalt
  14. 3 pinchblack pepper
  15. 1 tbspDried Italian Seasoning
  16. 2 dashTabasco Sauce

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In a frying pan combine ground beef and ground sausage. Brown over medium heat until thoroughly cooked. Drain and set aside.

    In a large stock pot add olive oil, onion, celery, carrots and garlic. Heat over medium until onions are translucent.

    Add the set aside meat mixture to the same pot as the vegatable mix.

    Add all the remaining ingredients EXCEPT THE PASTA to the same pot as the meat and vegatables. Cover and let boil slowly for at least 45 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent burning on the bottom of the pot.

    Now add the dry pasta and replace cover. Let boil for around 10 minutes.

    Turn off heat, stir and serve!

This is so good. Great hearty soup! Go to recipe! I added mushrooms and kidney beans. :positive
