  • 1 pintsStrawberries
  • 1/3 cupSugar
  • 1/4 cupWater
  • 1 tbspChamomile, dried
  • 1 tbspHoney

  1. 1

    Wash strawberries. Remove stems, and slice.

    Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan. Simmer until the mixture is just beginning to thicken.

  3. 3

    Add chamomile and remove from heat.

  4. 4

    Strain the mixture and return to pan over medium heat.

  5. 5

    When the syrup begins to bubble, add the strawberries.

    Add honey and sautée just until strawberries are tender.
