I wanted french toast, then halfway through mixing egg whites and cinnamon, I realized I ran out of soy milk. I had some soy eggnog (lactose intolerant) sitting in the fridge, so I just substituted that instead! It was AWESOME! All of the measurements are estimates, so throw in some of your own flair!

I like to make this on wintery cold weekend mornings. My husband adores it and I think its perfectly sweet without syrup. You can make it the night before and let it sit in the fridge(prior to baking) but I often assemble the morning I'm baking it and it always turns out perfect.

I used to buy ready-made orange toast, but I don't see it on sale anymore so I tried making it myself.If you prefer the toast to be soft, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk to the orange juice that you soak the bread in. If you like the toast to be crispy, don't add milk to the orange juice and use a baguette instead of sliced bread. Recipe by Kajesan
