Ingredients

  1. 3 eachboneless chicken breasts cubed
  2. 1/2 cupBourbon whiskey
  3. 1/3 cupdark brown sugar, packed
  4. 3 tbsphoney
  5. 1/4 cupsoy sauce
  6. 1 tspfresh grated ginger
  7. 1/2 tspblack pepper
  8. 1salt and pepper to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    In a saucepan, mix all ingredients except chicken and S&P.

    Heat until sugar dissolves. Cool completely.

  3. 3

    Place chicken and sauce in a plastic bag and marinate for 1 hour.

    Place all ingredients in a frying pan and saute until it makes a thick sauce. You will need to cook until most of the liquid has evaporated. It will turn dark brown and as it sits, will turn into a thick glaze.

    Serve over white rice.
