Steps
- 1
Place the ground beef in a large bowl. Make sure the meat is cold when mixing with the spices so it holds together better and forms a complete patty when lifted from the work surface. (Note: The amount used here is enough for one serving.) Mix the beef with the spices.
- 2
Take a small portion of the mixture, about the size of a medium ball, and roll it by hand, then flatten it into a round patty.
- 3
This is how it should look after flattening.
- 4
The patty should stay firm and hold together when cold and lifted from the work surface.
- 5
Place the patty in a skillet with a lid. Cover and cook for 5 minutes, then flip to cook the other side.
- 6
Serve the burger as a sandwich with a layer of beaten egg, cheddar cheese, tomato, pickle, and lettuce or arugula, or any vegetables you prefer.
- 7
You can also serve it on a plate with vegetables and ketchup, or with your favorite sauces like mayonnaise or mustard. Serve as you like.
