Ingredients

  • 1/2 lbground beef
  • 1/2 lbdiced bacon
  • 1 cupchopped onion
  • 1/2 cupketchup
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 3/4 cupbrown sugar
  • 1 tspmustard
  • 2 tspvinegar
  • 1 can15 oz white beans (butter beans, great northern or navy beans are good)
  • 1 can15 oz pork n beans
  • 1 can16 oz kidney beans

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine bacon, ground beef and onion in large pot

  2. 2

    Sautee over medium heat until browned

  3. 3

    Add all other ingredients to pot. stir until blended. cover

  4. 4

    Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 - 40 minutes covered.

  5. 5

    Serve with cornbread or biscuits
