In a mixer jar add the cornflakes and crush roughly

Beat the butter and sugar untill fluffy

Add the crushed cornflakes, flour, baking powder and essence, mix well

Sprinkle water and make a smooth dough

Pinch medium sized balls from the dough, roll them evenly and slightly flatten them

Arrange in a greased baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 175c for 15 minutes

Remove the cookies from the oven and cool on wire racks
- 8
Store or serve
