Steps

Melt butter in a pan. Add bay leaves and sauté till fragrant. Add finely chopped onion and ginger. Saute till they translucent.

Add chopped mushrooms. Sauté till the water dries up and the mushroom are light brown.

Add whole wheat flour. Sauté 2-3 minutes keeps strring often.

Add crushed black pepper. Sauté for a minute

Add 1 cup water. Stir occasionally.

After boiling add a cup of milk. Stir it and boil it few minutes.

Add salt and mix it well. Off the gas. And blend it with blander.

Now add cream and boil it again for 3-4 minutes for slow flame.

Off the gas and serve the cream of mushroom.
