Put the ghee in a pan and set the flame to medium high. Add whole wheat flour to the ghee.

Keep stirring continuously till the colour of the flour changes to golden brown smell the aroma of roasted atta It will also begin to release ghee. Do not heat on a high heat flame.

Now turn the heat to high and add 3 cups of water. The water gets absorbed by the flour in just a few seconds. Stir to ensure that no lumps are formed in the process.

When the water has been absorbed, add 1 cup sugar. Mix well as the sugar melts due to the heat.

Sprinkle some finely chopped kaju for garnishing.serve hot
