boil a pan of water for the potatoes. boil for 12- 15 minutes in salted water

boil an egg, 5 minutes for a runny yoke, do this before your steak to allow time to cool. put it in a bowl of cold water.

add 2 cloves of grated garlic, and some olive oil, about 5 table spoons and a pinch of salt and pepper. depending on how you prefer your steak times of cooking vary, for rare get your pan at high heat and quick fry for 1 minute each side or for a well done steak 2 minutes each side. allow to stand for a minute while you prep the salad.

now chop your baby tomatoes in half and mix them in with your mixed leaves and plate it up.

peel your egg and place it on your mixed leaves and tomatoes.

now take out your boiled baby potatoes and put them on the plate, put a generous table spoon of butter on your potatoes and now grate your leek over yoour potato and better.

finally a sprinkle of salt and a drizzle of olive oil on the salad and your ready to eat.
