3 1/2 cupall purpose flour
15 tbspbaking powder
3 tbspsugar
1 1/2 tbspsalt
12 ozbeer
1egg. beaten2

heat oven to 375
2

mix dry ingredients in a bowl
3

add 1 can of beer and mix with a fork untill just blended
4

turn out dough onto a floured surface
5

knead quickly to form a ball
6

place on greased cookie sheet
7

cut n x into the top
8

brush top with beaten egg
9

cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour
