Fried Potato Kofta

A wonderful side dish. I came up with this recipe when I had leftover French fries and wanted to serve them to my family in a new way. They loved it so much, they thought it was from a fancy restaurant. I told them: "The fancy restaurant is my own kitchen..."

A wonderful side dish. I came up with this recipe when I had leftover French fries and wanted to serve them to my family in a new way. They loved it so much, they thought it was from a fancy restaurant. I told them: "The fancy restaurant is my own kitchen..."
Steps
- 1
Wash the potatoes, cut them into sticks, and fry them in hot oil. (If the potatoes have thin skin, you don't need to peel them.)
- 2
Place the fried potatoes on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- 3
Let them cool.
- 4
In a food processor, add the fried potatoes, eggs, salt, mixed spices, and curry powder. Blend well until you get a dough that's easy to shape.
- 5
Shape the mixture into sticks (or any shape you like).
- 6
Fry them in hot oil until golden brown.
- 7
Place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 8
Arrange on a serving plate and serve hot with ketchup. Enjoy!
