This coconut sauce can be used as a topping for cakes, pancakes, waffles and as a dip too.
Steps

Heat a small pan, place the coconut and dry roast it, till it becomes golden brown.

In a sauce pan, place the condensed milk and coconut milk or cream and stir well.

Add the roasted coconut to the milk mixture and cook it on medium flame for 10-15 minutes.

Remove from heat. Allow it to cool slightly and blend it in a blender.

Strain the coconut puree and it is ready to use.

Note- the leftover coconut mixture can be used in pancakes or filling.

While roasting coconut,be sure it should not become brown.
