Puerto Rican Rice with Chick Peas

Ingredients

  1. 2 cupswhite rice (pre-cooked)
  2. 2 tablespoonscooking oil
  3. 1 lbdiced ham
  4. 2 canschick peas
  5. 1 canGoya sofrito
  6. 2 packetsGoya sazon

Cooking Instructions

    Pour cooking oil in a deep frying pan and set to medium-high heat.

    Cook ham and chick peas to desired doneness

  3. 3

    Mix in sofrito and sazon.

  4. 4

    Reduce heat to low-medium heat and slowly pour in rice.

  5. 5

    Cook until heated through, stirring as needed to prevent burning. Add water if mix is too dry.
