Steps

sift flour and sugar into mixing bowl

separate egg yolk from egg and stir with vanilla essence

add butter into flour mixture and rub lightly until bright yellow

add egg yolk into flour mixture and and rub gently until it sticks together like dough

wrap the bowl with cling wrap and chill in fridge for an hour

take out dough and preheat oven for for 10 minutes at 190٥c
- 7
shape the dough into tarts and add pineapple paste and bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 190٥c
- 8
cool before placing into container
