Chocolate Polvorones
Traditional Christmas sweets.
Steps

Place the lard in a bowl and let it come to room temperature so it's easy to work with.

Beat the lard well, then add the sugar, egg yolks, and cocoa powder. Mix well, then add the flour. Work the dough with your hands until it no longer sticks.

The dough will seem crumbly, but if you press it together with your hands, you can shape it as you like. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Bake for 20-25 minutes, depending on the thickness of the cookies. Once out of the oven, let them cool completely or they will break. Dust with powdered sugar and cinnamon or cocoa powder before they are fully cooled.
