Steps
- 1
Instead of throwing out your left over coffee, pour it into an ice cube tray and freeze it. Empty the tray into a zipper bag and toss it in the freezer for next time you want a frosty treat.
- 2
(I think this counts as a Kitchen Hack because you can freeze fruit juice for smoothies, herbs in olive oil, tomato sauce and so on.)
- 3
Put 6 ice cubes in a blender with milk, sugar and vanilla. Crush the ice and slowly increase the speed until the beverage is light and foamy. Serve in a tall glass. Also try using cereal cream, chocolate milk for a cafe mocha or how about eggnog for a holiday twist.
