What is Christmas without chapatis.. my mama never missed to add chapati's to our christmas menu. I couldn't help myself on this one. I made chapatis and we loved them big time.

What is Christmas without chapatis.. my mama never missed to add chapati's to our christmas menu. I couldn't help myself on this one. I made chapatis and we loved them big time.

Start off by measuring amount of flour you want add cinnamon to it.

Add about a cup of water in a jug. Add salt and sugar to taste as much as you desire.

Make a well in the middle of flour add all the milk and start kneading by bringing combining the flour together.

Keep adding the warm water in bits and continue kneading forming a soft dough.

Tranfer the dough in flat surface and continue kneading untill all flour is well combined together and your dough remains consistently soft. Blush off with some olive oil knead a bit and Let yourdough rest for about 30 minutes. This helps it to become softer.

Once the dough is well rested. Remove it and layer it flat on a smooth flat surface. Apply more oil on both sides and divide it equally.

Fold each piece to form a round beautiful pastry. Cover them to rest a little longer like 20 minutes.

When you start cooking roll the small pieces to form a well rounded shape. Cook it without oil and set aside. Repeat procedure for all others.

Start frying your chapatis. This is kinda fun. I fry two at a time. Place your chapatis on a pan. Apply oil on upper side then flip it over to cook. Repeat procedure on all sides untill they are well browned. Set them aside in a bowl that keeps them hot n soft.
