I have loved pancakes for as long as I can remember. My mama always made them for breakfast when we were kids. I try different versions of pancakes to bring out different flavours.

I have loved pancakes for as long as I can remember. My mama always made them for breakfast when we were kids. I try different versions of pancakes to bring out different flavours.

Measure your ingredients well.

Add flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon and baking soda in a bowl. Mix well with a whisk

Beat your eggs in a separate bowl add vanilla extract. Add them to the flour and mix well.

Add vinegar to the milk to make your buttermilk. Add the milk in bits as you whisk. Aim to get a runny paste.

Heat your pan. Add a little amount of oil. Scoop your paste and add it to the pan. Once the pancake is bubbly turn it and cook the other side.

If you cook with oil this is your final product. I prefer using a little oil in mine

If you cook without oil you get something close to this

Once ready enjoy the pancake for breakfast. Swirl some honey to make it more delicious.
