Cooking Instructions
- 1
Fry bacon, drain, chop and set aside.
- 2
Saute sausage until brown. Drain 90% of the oil. Add pan back to stove and add onions to the sausage. Stir together.
- 3
Add garlic at the end. Now here is where I add everything to a crock pot. Next I pour in my chicken stock and place on "High". Add salt, pepper, and sugar to crockpot mixture.
- 4
Cook until potatoes until tender.
- 5
Pour in cream.... I went full throttle...Live a little! Followed by adding the chopped bacon.
- 6
Add kale and cook another 30 minutes on "Low"
- 7
The bomb with baguette! Add Parmesan cheese over top of individual bowls. The best soup I've ever eaten!

My husband calls me the queen of soup so I decided to try my hand at this. Everyone raves over it. Make it vegetarian by substituting prosage for the sausage. Enjoy! gremlynwulf -

One of my pregnancy favorites. I still enjoy it now, so I learned how to make it. I tend to cut down on the red pepper so the kids will eat it. I also added more potatoes because I love them. Christina -

This is my favorite soup in Italy cuisine. Have it with breadsticks. Yummy~~~ Just cannot stop eating it!*Welcome to visit "Note-a-licious" blog!https://note-a-licious.blogspot.com/FB: https://www.facebook.com/Note.a.liciousTip*If the soup is not thick enough in the end, you can stir in potato starch water (about mixing 1 tsp potato starch with 1 Tbsp water) and boil the soup for a minute. It will help. Note-a-licious -
