preheat oven to 350° - stir the ricotta and eggs in a medium bowl.

spread 1 cup sauce on the bottom of a 13x9x2 inch baking dish.

layer with 3 lasagna noodles, 1 1/3 cups ricotta mixture, 1 1/2 cups mozzarella, 1/2 cup parmesan and 1 1/2 cups sauce.

if adding meat, saute it first and add it between the ricotta and mozzarella layers.

repeat to make 2 more layers, top with remaining noodles, sauce, mozzarella and parmesan.

put the lasagna pan on a cookie sheet and cover before putting it in the oven.

bake @ 350° for 45 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 15 minutes until cheese is bubbling.
