Unripe plantain porridge with goat meat 🖤

Plantain makes me happy, in whatever form it comes in (mostly gizdodo😁). I used half ripe plantain though, because I forgot to cut it from the stem and put it in the fridge so it got ripe overnight😥. It was a win win for me though, but not my mum😂😂🙄.

Peel plantains and wash them, scrape the back of the peeled plantains inside the pot,and slice diagonally from the middle. The scrapes serve as a thickening agent for the porridge.

Combine the sliced plantains, crayfish, sliced onions, pepper, Goat meat and broth into the pot

Add water and vegetable oil. Set to cook. Make sure the water added doesn't exceed the level of the plantain mix.

Add Maggi star seasoning and salt to taste.

When the plantains are cooked (not too soft), Add the basil leaves.

Stir and leave in the pot for one minute.
