Ingredients

8 cutlets
  • 1large carrot grated
  • 1/2 large beetroot grated
  • 1medium sized capsicum finely chopped
  • 1/4 small cabbage grated
  • 2-3green chillies finely chopped
  • 3potatoes boiled,peeled and mashed
  • 1/2 cupchopped onion
  • 4-5 leavesspinach(palak) chopped finely
  • 1 tbspJuice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tspblack pepper powder
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  • 3/4 cupsbread crumb
  • 2-3 tbspmaida slurry( mix maida in little water along with little water pinch salt and 1/4 tsp pepper powder )
  • 1 inch ginger grated
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 cupchopped coriander leaves

Steps

  1. 1

    Except oil, bread crumb and slurry mix all other ingredients nicely

  2. 2

    Make round or oval shaped cutlets with equal portions from the veg dough

  3. 3

    Keep them in fridge for 15 minutes

  4. 4

    Heat oil in a kadai

  5. 5

    Dip each cutlet in slurry

  6. 6

    Coat nicely with bread crumb

  7. 7

    Deep fry in hot oil in medium flame till brown in colour

  8. 8

    Serve with any chutney or sauce
