preheat oven to 350

slice crosswise to make a diamond pattern on top of ham

place ham in large roasting pan flat side down . add 1 cup of water . cover with foil . bake 1 hour 15 minutes .

in medium saucepan whisk together honey, brown sugar , ginger and cloves

heat over medium fire until sugar dissolves,whisking constantly. cool
- 6
remove foil from ham and brush generously with glaze
- 7
bake 50-60 minutes bru shing with glaze every 10 minutes
- 8
remove ham from oven. to remaining glaze , add 1/4 c ham juices. whisk to combine and serve with ham
