Steps

Use a nine inch square baking pan

preheat oven to 350°

swab a small amount of butter on a paper towel and rub it evenly over the bottom and sides of the baking pan

Line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper letting the paper hanging over two sides of the pan

Put the chocolate and butter on the cutting board use the serrated knife to chop the chocolate into small bits next cut the butter into chunks

In the saucepan combine the chocolate and butter and place over medium-low heat stir with the rubber spatula until the chocolate and butter are melted and the mixture is smooth

Remove pan from heat poor the chocolate mixture into the medium bowl scraping out every last bit with the rubber spatula add to sugar and vanilla to the chocolate mixture and stir well with a wooden spoon

One at a time crack the eggs into the small bowl and check for shells add eggs to the batter one at a time beating well after adding each one

Add the flour and salt and stir until the flower is mixed in

Using the rubber spatula scrape the batter into the prepared cooking pan spread it evenly in the pan and smooth the top put pan in the oven

Bake the brownies for 40 to 45 minutes

To test if the brownie is done insert a skewer were into the center of the brownie it should come out clean if the skewer is not clean bake for 5 minutes longer and test again

Remove the baking pan from the oven and place it on the cooling rack let it cool for 30 minutes

Now just cut serve and enjoy
