  • 8 ozCream cheese
  • 1 stickButter
  • 3 cupConfectioners sugar
  • 8 ozCool whip
  • 1 boxDevils food cake mix
  • 1 smallChocolate frosting

Steps

    Pre-heat oven 350°

  2. 2

    Mix cake as directed on box

  3. 3

    Take batter and divide into two separate pans so when its time to cut cakes in half you will have four layers (or you can use all batter in one pan then cut and have two layers)

  4. 4

    When cake is done after desired time let cake cool completely.

  5. 5

    Remove from pan after it has cooled completely and set aside

  6. 6

    In medium mixing bowl combine butter and cream cheese and mix well

  7. 7

    Add confectioners sugar until blended well, then fold in cool whip and mix well

  8. 8

    Set cake in freezer for about 10-15 minutes this way it will be easier to cut into halves

  9. 9

    Take mixture and spread onto half of cake and stay about an inch from edges add a layer and repeat until you have a top layer of cake. Then frost the entire cake and enjoy!!
