I try not to make the the icing too sweet. Currants are s very English thing to add but chocolate chips or other fruit taste just as good.

I swapped fresh strawberries with freeze-dried ones and my oh my, these babies are packed with so much flavor, plus it helps my cream cheese frosting stay stable and pretty!

This is my combination of a few recipes that go well together.

So moist and tasty! This can also be baked in a bundt cake, round cakes or sheet cake. I've also made this with strawberry cake mix, and strawberry gelatin and topped with whipped cream and sliced strawberries.

After making the White Truffle Cupcakes everyone wanted to try new flavor variations. So heres my next one a fresh Strawberry Cupcake with a dark chocolate Lindor liquid center truffle topped with a fluffy, creamy fresh strawberry whipped cream. It reminiscent of a chocolate covered strawberry!
