I just added the meat. I had the other ingredients on low for at least 2 hours before and it looks yummy! I will be cooking this on warm overnight and will bring it back up on low tomorrow morning and see how the chili turns out! Everytime I cook this, its a new experience. ~(o.o)~

  1. 2 lbground beef
  2. 1 cantomato sauce (29 oz)
  3. 1 cupdiced onions or 2tbs of onion powder
  4. 1 cankidney beans (29oz) with liquid
  5. 1/4 cupdiced celery or 2tbs celery salt
  6. 1/2 cupdiced green chili peppers
  7. 1 canpinto beans (29oz) with liquid
  8. 3 mediumtomatos, chopped
  9. 3 tspCumin Powder
  10. 3 tbspchili Powder
  11. 1 1/2 tspBlack Pepper
  12. 2 tspSalt
  13. 2 cupwater

  1. 1

    Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat (break the meat down as much as possible, using a potato masher works best)

  2. 2

    drain off the fat from the meat and add to a large pot (crockpot works best, 6qt or larger)

  3. 3

    combine meat and rest of ingredients and bring it to a simmer over low heat.

  4. 4

    cook, stirring ever 15 minutes

  5. 5

    you can cook it 2-3 hrs and get a watered down like taste or you can cook it for a whole day, set in refridge over night and rewarm (this is the best way). Longer cooking gives it a bigger taste.
