Ingredients

  • 2sugar to taste
  • 1 dashsalt & pepper to taste
  • 2 headcabbage
  • 4 tbspbutter
  • 5 slicepork jowl

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut up cabbage and place in large pot. Cover with 2 inches of water.

  2. 2

    Place pork jowl slices over Cabbage, tabs of butter and sprinkle with sugar to taste.

  3. 3

    Cover and bring to boil.

  4. 4

    Steam until tender.

  5. 5

    Watch cabbage that water doesn't run dry.

  6. 6

    When tender add extra butter if desired and toss. water should be mostly cooked out.
