Ingredients

  • 1 lbPork (or chicken)
  • 2 tbspOil
  • 3 cupCelery
  • 1 packagesBean sprouts
  • 1 cupOnion
  • 3 tbspCornstarch
  • 1/4 cupSoy sauce
  • 1/4 cupCold water (for cornstarch)
  • 1 canChicken broth (10.5 oz)
  • 1/4 cupWater (for bullion cubes)
  • 1 1/2Chicken bullion cubes
  • 1 packagesMushrooms

  1. 1

    Cook pork strips in 1 Tbl oil and remove pork from pan

  2. 2

    Add remaining 1 Tbl oil to pan and cook onion, celery, mushrooms, and sprouts to desired tenderness. Drain excess liquid.

  3. 3

    For sauce:
    A. In a sauce pan, combine water, bullion cubes, and chicken broth.
    B. in a separate bowl, combine cold water and cornstarch
    C. Stir and Heat until boiling and sauce changes to a uniform brown color

  4. 4

    Return pork to pan an cover with sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes
