Ingredients

  • meatloaf
  • 2 lbhamburger
  • 1 lbsausage
  • 1 cupsoft bread crumbs
  • 1 cupmilk
  • 2 tbspdried minced onions
  • 1 tspworcestershire sauce
  • 1 eachegg
  • salt and pepper
  • topping
  • 1/2 cupketchup
  • 3 tbspbrown sugar
  • 1 tbspmustard
  • 1/2 cupwater
  • salt and pepper

Steps

    Preheat oven to 350.

  2. 2

    Spray a 9x13 pan with non-stick spray.

  3. 3

    Combine milk and bread crumbs. Let sit a few minutes.

  4. 4

    Combine hamburger, sausage, onions, worcestershire sauce, egg, milk & bread crumb mixture, and salt & pepper in a large bowl. Hands are the best tool for this job.

  5. 5

    Either use a loaf pan or free form the meat mixture into a form you like and place in the center of the prepared 9x13 pan.

  6. 6

    Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

  7. 7

    Mix the ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, water, and salt & pepper together.

  8. 8

    Pour the topping over the meatloaf when the 30 minutes is up.

  9. 9

    Reduce oven to 300. Return meatloaf to the oven and bake for 45 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165.

  10. 10

    Remive and let sit for 10 minutes.
