Prepare ingredients. Cut the beef to pieces. Separately slice onions, tomatoes and ngwaci.

Pour out any remaining water.

Add cooking oil and sliced onions into the pan. Stir while cooking for 2 minutes.

Add sliced tomatoes. Mix and cook for 1 minute.

Add trimmed and sliced pieces of irish potato. Mix. Add 3 cups of water in the pan. Cover to cook for 8 minutes.

Serve with boiled rice.
