Ingredients

  • 350 gramschilled plain flour
  • 1 pinchpaprika
  • 50 gramscornflour
  • 3 tspbaking powder
  • 1 pinchsalt
  • 550 mlvery very cold beer
  • 4white fish cut into strips

Steps

  1. 1

    Whisk beer into flour, cornflour and baking powder.

  2. 2

    Add pinch of salt and pinch of paprika.

  3. 3

    Do this quickly just before you fry the fish.

  4. 4

    The batter should be thick, dip fish into batter then place into hot oil.

  5. 5

    Fry for 3-5 minutes turning occaisionally
