Cooking Instructions
- 1
Heat oil over medium high heat in skillet, add veggies and cook about 5 minutes til tender crisp
- 2
Lower to medium heat and stir in chicken, mandarin orange juice, brown sugar, honey, ginger, pepper, and sesame oil; cover and cook until liquid absorbed, about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 3
Top with mandarin oranges and serve over white rice. *if you prefer the citrus liquid to have a more glaze-like consistency, drain into a saucepan, add about a tablespoon of cornstarch to a few teaspoons of the excess mandarin orange juice, and stir with a whisk to desired thickness. Pour over the chicken and enjoy!

I was chosen as a cook tester for Mitsukan "Jukumi" vinegar, so I tried using it in my recipe which I've made since I lived by myself when I was younger!Since my husband doesn't like vinegar, I used to use a very mild vinegar called "Yasashii Osu". But I have noticed that "Jukumi" vinegar makes the dish more delicious since I started using it. Recipe by Erebon cookpad.japan -

Simply stir fry cucumber with inexpensive chicken tenders for an addictive and delicious dish with crunchy cucumber and tasty chicken. The key is to finish it off at high heat once you add the sauce ingredients. I used vinegar, which tenderizes the meat so that it falls easily off the bone so that the umami of the chicken can be enjoyed. If you don't like raw celery leaves, add them to the pan right after you add the flavoring ingredients in step 7 and stir fry it together. Please adjust the amount of red chili peppers, or just leave them out as you prefer. Sweet and Tangy Stir Fried Rice Sweet and Tangy Stir Fried Rice
This rice is, hands down, the BEST stir fried rice I have ever made. The rice gods were with me today and I’m making sure I have this little jewel in my vault. We had it with chicken kabobs. All ingredients are approximate and you can add or take away but the vinegar is the key to the flavor. SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles
