Ingredients

  • 8 piecesfish fillets
  • 200 ggram flour
  • 1 tbspgarlic paste
  • 1 tbspginger paste
  • 1 tspajwain
  • 1 tbspred chilli powder
  • 1 tbsplemon juice
  • 1egg
  • 110 gyogurt
  • oil for deep fry
  • to tasteSalt
  • to tasteChat masala

Steps

  1. 1

    Clean, wash and cut fish into one and a half inch size cubes.

  2. 2

    Apply salt, lime juice, Ginger Paste, Garlic Paste and red chilli powder.Keep aside for 20 minutes.

  3. 3

    Make a batter of gram flour, Yogurt, egg, ajwain, salt and water.

  4. 4

    Keep the already marinated fish pieces dipped in this batter for 15 minutes.

  5. 5

    Heat oil in a Kadhai/Wok and deep fry the fish till golden brown and crisp.Take out in absorbent paper.

  6. 6

    Serve hot sprinkled with chaat masala and lemon wedges.
