Ingredients

  • 1 packagesChicken Breast or tenderloin. 1 to 2 pounds depending in preference.
  • 12 sliceHomemade Buttermilk Cornbread
  • 1 boxChicken Broth
  • 1 canCream of Chicken
  • 2 sliceWhite Bread
  • 1Ground Sage
  • 2 largeEggs
  • 1Salt and Pepper

    Make Cornbread

  2. 2

    Crumble cornbread. Combine the remainder of ingredients in a large bowl. Mash with hands. Add broth slowly to determine consistency of dressing. This will depend in personal preference. Thick or thin.

    Boil chicken. Place in bottom if large roasting pan.

  4. 4

    Place chicken in the bottom of a large roasting pan. Pour dressing over the top. Cook on 350°F for approximately 30 minutes. Top should be brown and crunchy.
