Ingredients

  1. 146 oz jug tomato juice, any brand
  2. 3cubes beef bouillon
  3. 2 lbground beef
  4. 1/2onion, chopped
  5. pinchminced garlic
  6. 2 tspfresh ground black pepper
  7. 2 canGreen Giant Steam Crisp Mexican Corn
  8. 1 1/2 cupwhole button mushrooms (I use canned)
  9. 1 can12 oz can tomato paste
  10. chili powder

    Brown ground beef with onion and garlic

  2. 2

    Drain beef, but do not rinse

  3. 3

    Add beef to a large crock or soup pan, then add remaining ingredients

  4. 4

    Bring mix to boil, then reduce heat and allow to simmer for at least 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve and enjoy.

  5. 5

    I will add up to a quarter cup of salsa if we have it on hand, and/or a can of chick peas since they are a little nuttier and not as mushy as traditional chili beans.
