First time making it very quick and easy

Never been a fan of tuna melts until I found this recipe. I used hamburger buns to make this batch. It was a big hit with my toddler!

This is a basic sandwich that's often served in American diners and the like. Since it's easy to make at home I don't often order it when dining out. Whenever I do feel like eating one I make it for free at home.I used canned tuna in water this time. I also recommend using sour dough bread! You could also cook a tuna patty in olive oil and sandwich it between 2 pieces of toast, that way tastes pretty good too. You don't have to put all the hot sauce on, but I like spicy food, so I always add A LOT of hot sauce. :nod Perfect for lunch, and a healthy choice! :chef

This came about because I wanted to make tuna melt lettece wraps but needed a way to make them to eat as soon as the hot tuna and cheese was scooped in the lettece cup so it would keep the lettece crisp for everone. This worked out so well that the next time I made it I added various dipping items and crackers and rolls so everone was happy. This makes an easy fun lunch or appetizer!

An old friends mom used to make this for dinner and my own mother had different variations, she used dill havarty cheese but in any case I made this my own and wanted to share it with you :)
