Traditional Patiyala Glass Thandai

In a deep pan take milk and boil till becomes half. Add sugar and kesar strands slightly crush in hand. Mix well and let it boil.

For thandai masala - soak almonds, cashew, khus khus,melon seeds, saunf, Pistachios in water for 5 hrs.

Grind elaichi and black pepper and add in milk not in grinder but in Mortar and Pestle.

Once our thandai masala is been properly soaked, grind it in fine paste.

Add the paste to the milk and boil for 15 to 20 minutes more. Turn off the flame.

Let it cool on room temperature. Take 2 ice cubes for each glass and crush it on a cloth(manually).

Add randomly crushed ice to the glass and enjoy our Traditional Patiyala Glass Thandai 🙂
